Bampire (Digital- Resin STL)
(I have only ever printed this with a resin printer! I don’t recommend trying FDM.)
The Bampire, otherwise known as Count Checkula, is going to be redesigned by the game’s new sculptor, Wolf Kaulen. I know this mini has been a campy crowd favorite, and we’ve given away a ton of him at conventions for sponsored paint events, so the new sculpt will be similar to the old one— but with Wolf’s personal aesthetic style and design. That classic horror film hand will almost certainly be sticking around, as will his mullet if it works with Wolf’s vision.
To bid farewell, grab yourself an STL of the original sculpt so you can print your own Bampire before he’s gone! Plus you’ll get bonus style points down the road when this guy is rare due to being out of print! Like the Limited Edition Alternate Dr. Prometheus mini, this sculpt will be retired and removed from the store after the Kickstarter (outside of possible very special occasions in the future.) However, unlike Dr. Prometheus, I probably will not be paying to have this sculpt turned into a mold for mass production in SioCast, and he may only be available as a digital add-on come Kickstarter.
This purchase includes a digital STL file for a supported Bampire mini, and an unsupported Bampire mini. A download link to the zipped folder will be supplied via email immediately upon payment, and the link lasts 24 hours.
*The pre-supported file may require some sanding along the back of the cape. Some resins leave worse support marks than others. It was positioned with the teeth and fingers in mind, making sure those print cleanly. Feel free to support him yourself if you have a better idea, and let me know if you find a better angle!
**The bases in my photo are hand made by yours truly, and are not an STL. Resin printing flat or plain bases is not typically a good use of resin or time, so this file doesn’t include a base. You can find plenty of free bases on Thingiverse, or other free sites. I recommend buying round flat non-slotted 30mm bases from Impact Miniatures (that’s where I get mine).
**I’d hope it goes without saying, but this STL is for personal use only, and does not grant you the right to sell or distribute any physical prints or STL files. This is a true indie project with one dev, one artist, and one sculptor, so please know that your support means the world!
